What is Silt Curtain? 

Silt curtain, also known as turbidity or flotation curtains, are suspended in water to control sediment dispersion. They are either permeable or impervious, containing disturbed sediment near the surface, allowing it to settle. Key factors for design include flow rate, water depth, and project duration. 

Common applications:
- Bridge, jetty, or rock wall construction
- Dredging and excavation
- Sediment pond and mine tailings management
- Aquatic plant or algae control
